Chris Hamilton, MA, LPCC-S
I attended Cincinnati Christian University and graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Christian Ministry. I continued my graduate level education at CCU and achieved a Master of Arts in Counseling degree. I align with and am a member in good standing of the American Association of Christian Counselors and am licensed in Kentucky and Ohio. I utilize a Christian counseling framework and believe human nature is to process life through a filter of hurt, and that “hurt problem” is at the root of our troubles. The most effective and lasting counseling stems from addressing the “hurt problem”.
Transforming mental healthcare
I am a master-level counselor providing quality mental health care. I assist clients by providing clinical therapy, spiritual formation, coaching, and more via telehealth and in-person sessions. I utilize a Christian approach to my services.
My Approach
I am a master-level counselor supervisor providing quality mental health care in Kentucky and Ohio. I utilize a cognitive-behavioral and attachment theory approach viewed through the lens of the Christian faith. As a clinician that focuses on healing, I assist my clients in identifying their “hurt-problem”, reframing it, and developing solutions that honor God. Whether you struggle with anxiety, depression, interpersonal relationships, substance use, or other problems, I am able to meet your needs online or in-person.
